The pace of the slide to complete national fascism is pickng up speed. What we are seeing now is akin to Hitler’s Black Shirt and Brown Shirt street gangs who beat opponents and opposition parties.

Second White-On-Black Assault Caught On Video From Brutish Trump North Carolina Rally

Raw Story (3/11/16)

East Carolina University student Adedayo Adeniyi wanted to attend a rally for GOP front runner Donald Trump to see for himself the things he has been hearing and seeing in media reports, according to the New York Daily News.

But he describes what happened to him in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Wednesday night as a surreal throwback to some of the uglier points in American history. Adeniyi says he was targeted because of his race. His cell phone captured video of him being ordered and led out, then sworn at venomously by an elderly white man.

“These are presidential candidate rallies,” he told the Daily News. “I’m not at a KKK rally. The fact that I experienced hate at a candidate rally tells you everything you need to know about Donald Trump and the people that support him. People will act more hateful and racist in environments that they feel not only encouraged to do it, but accept it as normal.”

The video shows Adeniyi expressing disbelief when police officers tell him he has to leave the rally.

“Hey that’s not me, that’s them,” he can be heard saying.”I don’t even know them!”

He continues to express shock, and another person being thrown out can be heard saying, “I didn’t do shit, so let me go.”

The video shows people being detained, cuffed and led out, with one woman screaming, “Get the f*ck off me!”

As the officers are cuffing people, Trump can be heard continuing to speak in the background, until the crowd notices and starts jeering.

At the end of the video, a white man says to him, ‘Hey, f*ck you, baby, f*ck you!” and slaps him.

Adeniyi said the moment caused him to lose faith in the future of America.

“The man at the end of the video is a moment I’ll never forget,” he said. “The hate in his eyes. The words. The hate in those words. The slap. It was disgusting and sad. At that moment I believed that America will stay and continue to be a hateful and bigoted country.” … Read the Rest

‘F*ck you, you whore!’: Watch Angry White People Go Berserk Outside St. Louis Trump Rally

Raw Story (3/11/16)

Videos taken of Donald Trump supporters outside a rally in St. Louis, Missouri, show demonstrations of extreme anger, provocation and aggression as the GOP front runner tries to defend himself against criticism that his rallies are becoming dangerous.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a massive crowd of thousands waited in line to hear the former reality television star and real estate mogul speak downtown at the Peabody Opera House. But protesters were also in attendance, as become commonplace at Trump rallies.

“We’re just trying to join with the Muslim community saying hate speech has no place here,” Jay Kanzler, an Episcopal priest and attorney who was among the protesters, told the Post-Dispatch. “We stand with our Muslim American bothers and sisters, our Jewish brothers and sisters, our Christian brothers and sisters for this community. We’re not going to let Donald Trump’s hate speech divide us.”

Trump supporters hurled foul language and hateful words at them. Watch video of high tensions, as posted to Twitter by witnesses. Link to Story and Several Videos

Shocking Video Shows Black Protester Covered In Blood At Chaotic Trump Rally In St. Louis

Raw Story (3/11/16)

A demonstrator at a St. Louis rally for GOP front runner Donald Trump had his face bloodied and was taken to an ambulance by police officers, according to video posted online and the New York Daily News.

The African-American man is a locally-known activist named Anthony Cage. He became a local activist against police violence and racism after the killing of unarmed black teen, Michael Brown, in 2014, by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson.

Cage can be seen with his hands bound by plastic ties, being taken to an ambulance by St. Louis police officers. According to reporter Junius Randolph, Cage was not under arrest and was released after his wounds were treated.

According to the Daily News, Cage was using a bullhorn outside the Friday morning rally to denounce Trump as a racist. As he is walking with the police officers, he says something about being attacked. … Link to Story and Videos

Breitbart Reporter Files Police Report Against Trump Campaign Manager Over Alleged Assault

Huffington Post (3/11/16)

NEW YORK — Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields filed a police report Friday morning against Corey Lewandowski just as her own news outlet cast doubt that Donald Trump’s campaign manager had roughly grabbed her after Tuesday night’s press conference in Jupiter, Florida.

Washington Post reporter Ben Terris says he witnessed the event, and was the person to inform Fields that it was Lewandowski who grabbed her and pulled her back. He wrote Thursday that the campaign manager “yanked [Fields] out of the way” and described how “finger-shaped bruises formed on her arm.”

On Friday afternoon, C-SPAN video emerged that showed Lewandowski appearing to reach toward Fields.

So far, no other witnesses have come forward. Another attendee at the press conference, New York Observer editor Ken Kurson, told The Huffington Post he didn’t see Lewandowski assault Fields.

“I was five feet away from the alleged incident and didn’t see anything,” Kurson said. “I was literally looking right at Corey when it supposedly happened.”

The Observer is owned by Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who was walking near Trump when the alleged incident took place. Kurson, who is shown wearing a blue V-neck sweater and a backpack in a Vine taken around the time of the alleged incident, said that “if this happened, I think I would have seen it.”

The wild back and forth over the assault allegations comes at a time when Trump’s campaign is under heightened criticism for the rowdiness and violence at his rallies and for the severerestrictions placed on reporters trying to cover the protests. A Secret Service agent recently roughed up a Time magazine photographer who left the campaign’s designated “press pen” to cover demonstrators being ushered out of an event.

On Thursday afternoon, the Trump campaign dismissed Fields’allegation that Lewandowski grabbed her as she tried to ask the candidate a question about affirmative action. Lewandowski mocked Fields soon after as an “attention seeker,” and Trumpsuggested the reporter had fabricated her story when asked about the charge following Thursday night’s Republican debate.

But to believe Fields concocted a story about being grabbed is to ignore several pieces of evidence, including contemporaneous audio between her and Terris. Fields also tweeted a photo of her bruised arm on Thursday in response to the Trump campaign denying her allegations. … Read the Rest and Video

Breitbart Spokesman Resigns Over Trump Aide Assault: ‘This S**t Just Sucks’

Huffington Post (3/11/16)

Kurt Bardella, who quit as Breitbart’s spokesman on Friday over the news site’s handling of an assault on its own reporter at a Donald Trump press conference, said that he could no longer go on.

“It became untenable for me personally to continue in this situation. If you can’t give 100 percent, you can’t represent your client,” Bardella, who also represents country music bands in Nashville, told HuffPost.

He added, “This shit just sucks.”

In Bardella’s view, the violence on the campaign trail is getting out of hand and needs to be called out. “There is this escalating pattern of behavior that’s only happening at Donald Trump events. It’s incredibly dangerous. His rhetoric is unmistakable and it is calculated and it is intentional,” Bardella said.

BuzzFeed News first reported Bardella’s resignation.

Asked why Breitbart seems to be siding with the Trump campaign over its reporter Michelle Fields, Bardella said he wasn’t sure. “I think there certainly appears to be conflicting agendas at play here. Your guess is as good as mine,” he said.

He added that Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski had not, as was previously reported, admitted to the assault. In a text message exchange with Breitbart’s Matt Boyle, Lewandowski only said that he didn’t know Fields was a Breitbart reporter and that he would look into the situation, according to Bardella.

Fields has filed a police report against Lewandowski. Video has also emerged showing that, despite Breitbart’s earlier protestations to the contrary, Lewandowski reached out toward Fields and appeared to grab her — as even the news site is now acknowledging.

UPDATE: 11:40 p.m. — Bardella told CNN’s Don Lemon on Fridaynight that he disagrees with Brietbart’s coverage of the incident with Fields and “how they have treated Michelle.”

“I think they have been looking for a reason to disprove something,” Bardella said.

“Are you saying they are lying?” Lemon asked.

“Yes, I am,” Bardella answered. Link to Story

What I Know About America After Getting Thrown Out Of A Trump Rally

Huffington Post (3/11/16)

As I woke up this morning, the reality and depth of the situation started to finally set in.

Seventy-plus interviews later, my childhood friend and I are on national news because we decided to attend a presidential campaign event. My childhood friend and I are on national news because we were exercising our civic rights as Americans.

At a Donald J. Trump campaign event March 9, 2016, my friend Rakeem and I saw what being American is all about.

Being American is about being at a public place where I take my child to watch hockey games regularly becoming a beehive of hatred.

Being American is about watching law enforcement “detain” your friend for being a victim of assault.

Being American is about getting escorted out of a facility in your hometown while onlookers chant, “go home niggers.”

The entire experience from beginning to end is something we never asked for. We didn’t sign up for this, but yet here it lays in front of us. It has been unreal, distressing and nauseating.

One of the main thoughts that remains in my head is, What if I didn’t have my camera?

Thank God I did.

It’s preposterous to read other articles where the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department alludes that Rakeem may have fallen walking up the stairs into police. What a lot of people fail to realize is that Rakeem is already at the top of the stairs when he “fell.”

It’s equally troubling that they also say that the officers were not looking when he was struck in the face and assaulted. All 10 of them didn’t see it? The armed, trained people who are charged with the task of protecting us didn’t see someone strike a young man in between them?

You kind of have to laugh at that response. No apologies. No acceptance of responsibility. No acknowledgement of inaction. “He may have fell walking up the stairs” is all you get. Ignore the 10,000 people watching, countless cameras and numerous angles of that moment being captured by various spectators, because that doesn’t count apparently.

A day after the assault, and a story that has captivated the nation, a sheriff’s department inundated by calls and questions says, “We caught the guy.”

Oh really? … Read the Rest and Video

Donald Trump’s Calls For Violence Spill Into Supreme Court Fight

Huffington Post (3/11/16)

WASHINGTON — The Donald Trump world of politics — where protesters at his events are shoved, beatensucker-punched,dragged out and kicked, as Trump himself encourages violence — is infecting other politicians’ events.

On Friday, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) was giving a talk at aFederalist Society luncheon in Washington when protesters stood up and began chanting, “Do your job!” — a reference to Republicans’ refusal to consider a Supreme Court nominee from President Barack Obama. It wasn’t long before organizers started ripping the signs out of their hands as they chanted. One attendee shouted that the protesters were “fascists” and, a moment later, yelled, “Beat ’em up!”

Layla Zaidane of Generation Progress, the left-leaning group that organized the protest, said the reaction from some of the attendees was “shocking.”

“We knew what we were walking into, but the language, threats and aggressiveness were unexpected and disappointing,” said Zaidane. “We were called Nazis and fascists just for speaking up and asking the senator to do his job.”

At one point, someone who appeared to be a luncheon organizer tried to yank a sign out of a protester’s hands, but she pulled it back and it tore. She kept chanting and the organizer walked away.

Here’s a longer clip of the protest. The awkward sign-scuffling begins around the 40-second mark. Read the Rest and Video
